About Us

Woodfield French Immersion Public School is in the middle of London, and boasts uniqueness and charm from the early twentieth century.  Built in 1915, our school has original wood floors in our Kindergarten rooms, but also has updates throughout the building. The front entrances, which were used in 1915, designated "boys" and "girls", take us back to another era.  We now enter from the schoolyard side of the school only, but the front entrances remind us of a different time in education.  In our stairwells at the back of the school, you'll find stained glass windows that have been designed and made by our students over the years.

Lord Roberts School at it's opening in 1915.

This year, we have French Immersion classes from Grade 1 to Grade 8. We also have one English kindergarten classroom for a school total of 300 students. We welcome registrations for new students entering Grade 1, and students transferring in later grades from another French Immersion school or a French First-Language school only.  Kindergarten students must be registered at their home English TVDSB school and check the French Immersion box to be considered for placement in our English kindergarten classroom.  Along with our three-floor building, 1 portable is home to our classes.
